We are visiting Silverton mountain the La Grave of the USA for the first time.  

This camp is a 4 day guided and coached steep camp using Silvertons Guides working with Snowperformance coaches.

We will stay in historic Silverton town in excellent accomodation and great food options available.

We will travel daily up to the mountain, meet with our pro guides and use the Silverton chairlift access, then boot pack to its amazing terrain.

Your coach will work in conjunction with the guide to give you the tools to be safe and sucessful in the challenges the terrain and snowpack gives us. Our groups will be small and the feedback highly personalized.

As you get a little tired each day there will be one or two Heli drops to save your legs and increase the terrain.     

The terrain is steep and high altitude so you will need to be fit, as boot packing is a definite part of your day.  AT gear and skins are not necessary as all hiking is boot packing. 

The terrain may push skiers levels due to steep and challenging snow conditions and you need to be a strong all mountain skier with good skills in all conditions.

This 4 day package will take you to the famous Silverton town and its historic buildings and atmosphere and then daily we will get taken to the mountain to explore islong steep and challenging powder slopes offering a different experience from anything else in the continental US .

The camps wil have coaching from Gavin and other Snowperformance staff and guided by experienced Silverton guides.

Covid policy.

**In the event that a ski area or tour operator we rely on should cease operation and force us to cancel a trip, camp or lesson as a result of government order or mandate (ie Virus outbreak) our guests will have the options to either receive a full balance payment or roll the balance over to another Snowperformance product**

We will not refund because of a persons own decision to cancel due to their perception of a Covid related situation.**

We are striving to keep you as safe as possible and our coaches will follow all mountain Covid policys including wearing masks inside the lodge and on lifts and also where social distancing is not posible.  Creating social distancing in lift lines and within groups when on the mountain.

We are also looking at meeting groups outside and are changing our teaching protocols to get groups to give more distance.  Video will be sent as a Vimeo link for review.

If you are not comfortable getting on a chair with a mask with another person then you can ride alone.

For certain Heli and other travel camps we may ask you to take a Covid test within 72 Hours of your trip.

We are also doing design groups where you can bring your bubble group of friends to create a more secure group you and your ski friends for any day of the week.

We will have more private lesson coaches available if you need to stay away from group activity and also because private instruction is the fastest way to learn.
