Small Groups, Steep Fast
We run 3 cat skiing tours from the two most premier cat skiing lodges in the world in the heart of BC.
Chatter Creek is located deep in the Rockys North East of Golden while Mustang is in the Monashee mountains North West of Revelstoke BC. Both lodges located deep in the mountains offer an incredible level of service with 5 star dining, outstanding skiing and a huge choice of terrain from high Alpine to gladed trees and tight steep trees.
The Small groups steep fast cat skiing offers the ability to get more vertical, ski lines and terrain less skied and have much more comfort in the Cat with 6 -8 people rather than regular groups of 13-14 skiers packed in.
This trip is designed for the Snowperformance level 3.5 to level 4 skiers only. The skiing can be very challenging technically and also fast moving so your skills need to be strong, you have to be fit and have stamina. There will be app 6-8 skiers in the cat led by some of Canada's top guides who are the leading mountain safety guides in North America.
Our food and accommodation in Mustangs beautiful remote lodge is outstanding. This coupled with the huge expanse of terrain available and the expert guiding staff at Mustang who go out of their way to find you fresh tracks and great terrain every run makes for a great experience. Gavin and Alison from Snowperformance will also work with you to get the best out of your skiing and give you techniques to enjoy the experience even more.
When camps are full we have a reserve list in case of drop out and or extra camps. Please contact Gavin with your details to get on the list.
You will arrive at the lodge the evening before the first day of skiing. We will be welcomed and fed excellent cuisine by the friendly staff who will go out of their way to look after all your needs.
The next morning you will be woken to a breakfast feast and then a full days skiing adventure on the extensive terrain. Skiing ranges from open glades to endless tree runs and high glacial skiing amongst the many stunning peaks that are within Mustangs boundaries.
Mustang staff last year cut over 250 kilometers of roads in their new Piston bully cats to access more possible terrain. The guiding staff are second to none and they will lead you safely through this terrain.
After three days you should leave tired but with memories that you will never forget.
Our cats are booked exclusively for Snowperformance clients and we group them so that there are similar levels of skiers in the cat.
A Snowperformance expert coach will be on each trip to make sure everything runs smoothly offer tips if needed, shoot video and assist in any way.
